The Abstracts combine discipline and imagination. They are oil paintings using five colours and limited tools. The 2022 series uses only a squeegee to apply the paint by dragging the colours across the surface. The 2025 series uses the paint tubes, where every edge is used to spread, smear, and scratch the surface. With the last rule being to use all the paint, it is an instinctive journey to an image.
